The Zebec community recently voted on and adopted the first Zebec Improvement Proposal (ZIP-1) to construct the Nautilus Chain. The Zebec Chain will employ Nautilus as a staging chain. Nautilus, as a predecessor that will be deployed on its mainnet, will be important in assuring the successful launch of Zebec Chain, which is expected for late Q3 of this year.
What Is the Nautilus Chain?
Nautilus will put to the test a modular blockchain design that divides data storage, execution, and settlement into layers. It will serve as L3 infrastructure, letting developers to build app-specific chains on top of scalable L2 solutions.
This allows them complete control over their app’s development without needing them to share blockspace with other apps, resulting in exceptional scalability. Zebec Chain’s TPS is now estimated to be larger than 100,000 TPS.
In comparison to traditional blockchains, the Nautilus Chain will provide a more efficient and adaptable alternative for developers and dApps. Developers will have greater control over how their apps are coded, allowing them to balance throughput with decentralisation. Developers using Nautilus will be able to select from a number of L1s for data availability and consensus, including Celestia, Cosmos, and Ethereum.
Initially, developers will be able to leverage Ethereum for consensus and Cosmos’ IBC connection. For the transaction execution layer, they can employ the EVM, Solana VM, or Move, with more to follow.
Nautilus will help the community by raising the price of $ZBC. The Nautilus chain will be powered by $ZBC, and 25% of all petrol fees will be burned, decreasing the token’s supply and increasing its price.
Nautilus Chain will also be a terrific tool for developers, giving them more freedom than other blockchains.
